Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore has released the test and some other important dates for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024. It is anticipated that the application window will be opened today, August 24, 2023. Individuals who want to appear in the PG engineering entrance exam can apply online at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The last date to submit the form is September 29, 2023.
But, the last date to apply for GATE with late fee is October 13, 2023. GATE 2024 entrance exam is planned to be conducted on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2024. This year, IISc will conduct an exam. 30 papers for admission to M.Tech program in IITs. Also, there is a new paper for data science and artificial intelligence in GATE 2024 syllabus.
GATE 2024: Essentials
As per the official timetable, the registration process will be open from 24th August to 29th September 2023. After the deadline the application portal will be closed.
It is also important to note that the qualifying exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the next shift will be from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Applicants applying for the test must know the timings.
Applicants will be allowed to make changes in their GATE application form from 7th November to 11th November 2023.

You must follow the simple steps given below to complete GATE 2024 registration online:
• Visit the website gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
• Click on the GATE 2024 Registration link on the homepage.
• Register yourself with your login details.
• Enter the registration form online and save it.
• Upload the required documents and provide the fee payment.
• Press on submit to end the registration cycle.
• Save GATE Application Form.
GATE Registration: Additional
Women, SC and ST category applicants will have to pay a fee of Rs 900 while applying for GATE 2024, while the fee for remaining applicants is Rs 1,800.
Applicants who have completed any government-affiliated undergraduate degree in Science/ Architecture/ Engineering/ Technology/ Humanities are eligible to apply for GATE 2024 test. Applicants who are currently studying in their college graduation third year can also apply for GATE 2024 test.
Last year’s GATE test eligibility measures also included commerce subject which has been dropped this year.
