India created history with the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the South Pole region of the Moon. This incredible feat helped India become the first country to reach the challenging South Pole.

India’s lunar mission will take lunar exploration to the next level and strengthen India’s position in the space world. With the successful landing, India became the fourth country after the United States, China and Russia to make a controlled landing on the lunar surface.

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) received huge praise for achieving this feat.

United States of america

The United States appreciated the soft landing of India’s Chandrayaan-3. The US State Department says that ISRO’s success will fuel imagination. The department tweeted, “Congratulations to our #ArtemisAccords partner

@isro on the successful landing of #Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon. Your success will power imagination and illuminate the future of people around the world.”

US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan called the mission a “historic landing”.

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson also congratulated ISRO and said, “Congratulations to ISRO for the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon’s South Pole! And congratulations to India for becoming the fourth country to successfully soft-land a spacecraft on the Moon.” Congratulations. We are delighted.” To be your partner in this mission!”

Joseph Eschbacher, director general of the European Space Agency, described the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 as “unbelievable”.

The ESA director congratulated ISRO and the people of India and further wrote, “What a way to showcase new technologies and achieve India’s first soft landing on another celestial body. Well done, I am totally impressed.”


Russia

The Russian President congratulated the President of India Draupadi Murmu and the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3.

The statement on the Kremlin website further read, “This is a huge step forward in space exploration and, of course, a testament to India’s impressive progress in science and technology. Please convey my warmest wishes to the leadership and staff of the Indian Space Research Organization ” Congratulations and best wishes for new achievements.”


South Africa

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa lauded India on the historic moon landing.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa also congratulated India on the historic moon landing. Referring to the BRICS alliance of economies, President Cyril said, “It is a momentous occasion for us as the BRICS family and we rejoice with you. We join you in celebrating this great achievement.”

Nepal

The Prime Minister of Nepal also extended his warm wishes to India on this great achievement. “I congratulate Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and India’s ISRO team on today’s successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the surface of the Moon and a historic achievement in the field of science and space technology,” he tweeted.


United Kingdom

UK Space Agency also congratulated India and wrote, “HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE! Congratulations @isro on #Chandrayaan3”
